(17 December 2015) While in Chicago for Fabtech '15, The Electrocoat Association held its annual meeting at McCormick and Schmicks Wacker Drive restaurant. During the annual meeting, reports were given, the year reviewed and new officers and directors were sworn in where a gavel was turned over to the new President.
David Myers, the new Past-President was awarded a gavel plaque by Executive Director, Karen McGlothlin, for his previous leadership and most recent term as President for the past 2-years. Myers will continue to serve as Past-President for the next 2 years.

The Electrocoat Association is a non-profit trade association founded in 1997 to promote the environmental and economic benefits of electrocoat technology. Membership includes manufacturers and suppliers of equipment, chemicals, paint, ancillary equipment; custom coaters, captive shops and other individuals interested in this finishing process.
David was instrumental in the founding of The Electrocoat Association and previously served two consecutive terms from 1999 thru 2005 as President for the association. David has also served as Vice-President of the Board of Directors for The Electrocoating Association as well as on the Conference Steering and Operating Committees. In 2010 David received The George E.F. Brewer award for his contributions towards the development of electrocoat technology
