KCE offering modularity and flexibility

Launched by Luvata at the beginning of 2009, KCE is the newest line of ECO Coils & Coolers branded remote condensers and liquid coolers for the air conditioning and commercial/industrial refrigeration sectors.

Owing to its superior structural design and adaptability, the KCE is quickly gaining recognition in the market as an innovative and superior solution that is extremely flexible and modular it can meet the most demanding configuration requirements.  The flexibility of the KCE line now makes it possible to optimize the number and diameter combinations of the fan motors to ensure a greater linearity within the available space.

In addition to the 500 mm and 630 mm diameter fan motors, the KCE introduces the 710 mm diameter fan motor version. Intended for outdoor applications, this new series is particularly suitable for the close-control segment, where the number of motors to noise ratio and the cutting-phase control option are important considerations.

To meet the increasing demand for heat dissipation in precision air conditioning systems, the availability of the 710 mm diameter motors facilitates the management of the condensing section with a lower number of fan motors, consequently simplifying the electronic equipment required for the control and management systems and related safety aspects.

In the medium-low power KCE, the outfitted fan motors in the “HyBlade*” series deliver a significant reduction in weight, along with an efficient structure, decreased noise level and improved operating efficiency.  Fan motors for models with greater motor diameter (800mm, 910 mm and 1000m) will also have a low noise impact and similar optimized performance. The exceptionally low noise emission, minimum levels of 16 db(A) at 10 meters, is at least a 75% reduction in comparison to previous units.

As an added possibility the KCE line offers the optional electronic control switch solution (EC Technology). Moreover the KCE multiplies its range of models thanks to the availability of versions “A” (elongated) and “E” (extended). In the “A” version, the repetitive module generally associated with a certain number of fan motors, can also be used with a reduced number of fan motors.  Whereas, the “E” series are used with existing module fan motors with smaller diameters.

The superior coils sector, in terms of the total surface in the ventilation section, results in the reduction of air flow delivering a reduction in sound emission levels, lower energy consumption and reduces the control and protection systems required of the fan motors. Given their unique characteristics options “A” and “E” are perfectly suited to meet the market requirements of Northern and Central Europe, a region that is particularly conscientious about the environmental impact that installations have.

Luvata, as the world’s biggest coils-and-coolers group, maintains its leadership position by offering innovative products like the KCE, complying with the most rigorous rules and regulations concerning energy efficiency, noise emissions and the environment.
