Luvata's Heat Transfer Solutions Division, as the world's biggest coils-and-cooler group, was well represented at the 2009 AHR Expo with booths by Luvata Grenada and Luvata ElectroFin, along with members of Luvata’s executive team including John Peter Leesi, Hannu Wahlroos and Ron Beal in attendance.
The 2009 AHR Expo held January 26-28 at McCormick Place, Chicago, Illinois is the world's largest HVAC&R Exposition attracting many thousands of attendees from all facets of the industry. Participants range from contractors, engineers, dealers, distributors, wholesalers, OEMs, architects, builders, industrial plant operators, agents and reps and over 1,800 exhibitors.
Excellent booth traffic
Billie Dover, Manager of Marketing and Sales Administration, summarized, "Overall our booth traffic at the AHR Expo in Chicago was much better than we expected with particular interest in our new Micro-Channel coil technology. Although our OEM customers indicated business was down, we are encouraged to hear from our Replacement coil customers that business is holding steady. We are looking forward to our next show in Baltimore, the National Facilities Management & Technology show held March 10-12."
David Myers, Director of Technology for Luvata ElectroFin indicated, “Attendees were interested in learning more about our new spray-on coating, ElectroFin® Insitu which can be applied either in the factory or in the field and with our newest location in Temecula, California. This should better meet the needs of our customers who forego our submersible coating, ElectroFin E-Coat.”
More to follow
The 2009 Show was larger than last year’s New York show, and ranks as the second largest AHR Expo, just behind the 2006 Chicago show in terms of the number of exhibiting companies with 1,911. The next show is scheduled for January 25-27, 2010 in Orlando, Florida.
