Organisational changes announced at Luvata’s Finspång facility
November 5, 2008
Luvata Sweden AB has announced that, as a result of the current global financial situation and corresponding reduced manufacturing orders, it will be making organisational changes that may result in a reduction of up to 36 positions at its Finspång manufacturing facility. The majority of products manufactured in Finspång are used in the vehicle industry, significantly impacted by recent economic downturn.
Luvata has already begun negotiations with unions and will work towards minimising the impact on individuals and providing every support possible in finding alternative employment to those affected. This decision will, however, allow Luvata to remain competitive in the marketplace during this period of market downturn.
