Reorganisation announced at Luvata’s Zutphen facility
(12 February 2009:) Luvata Netherlands B.V. has announced that it will be making organizational changes as a result of the current global financial situation and corresponding 2009-order outlook. These changes may result in a reduction of up to 45 positions at its Zutphen manufacturing facility. The products manufactured in Zutphen are used in engine cooling, electrical components and general industrial applications businesses, significantly impacted by the recent economic downturn.
Luvata has already informed unions and works counsel and will work towards minimizing the impact on individuals and providing every support possible in finding alternative employment to those affected. This decision will, however, allow Luvata to remain competitive in the marketplace during this period of market downturn.
