(25 June 2012). The Mayor of Pompano Beach, local Chamber of Commerce members, members of the press, Luvata employees and management will celebrate the grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony of Luvata’s fifth corrosion-proofing spray center in Pompano Beach, Florida on Wednesday, June 27, 2012.
The event will be held from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at the new facility located at 1950 NW 15th Street, Building B, Pompano Beach, Florida 33069. The open house will include a brief presentation by Mike Powell, Sales and Marketing Director with Luvata ElectroFin, and recognition of distinguished guests followed by a ribbon cutting ceremony, refreshments and door prizes.
Luvata ElectroFin’s newest facility in Pompano Beach, Florida will offer INSITU®, a spray applied, permanent, water-based, synthetic coating developed specifically for the protection of heat transfer coils and components. Located just 1.5 miles from Interstate 95 and one mile from the Florida turnpike, it provides easy access to nearly 5.5 million residents in the Miami-Fort Lauderdale-Pompano Beach metropolitan area.
“Coastal environments with exposure to salt air are often detrimental to finned coils, decreasing an air-conditioning unit’s life cycle while increasing its operating costs,” indicates Ralph Rice, General Manager with Luvata ElectroFin. “Second only to full immersion, spray applied INSITU® is the most effective way to combat this type of corrosion. With the grand opening of our newest facility in Pompano Beach, we’re looking forward to better serving our customers in Southern Florida, the Carribean and South America.”
The facility includes 19,050-square feet for plant operations, 2,400-square feet of office space and 16,000-square feet of secure outside storage. The building includes three grade level bay doors and two dock height doors for easy collection and delivery.
Pompano Beach joins Luvata ElectroFin’s five other locations in Louisville, Kentucky; Jacksonville, Texas; Temecula and San Leandro, California; and Tampa, Florida in offering spray-applied coil corrosion protection. Luvata also recently announced expansion plans for its coil corrosion protection coatings near Monterrey, Mexico, targeting to break ground on the new facility within the next month.
