Copper Tungsten

Superior wear-resistance

Tungsten alone is a very brittle metal with a high melting point, however the combination of copper and tungsten delivers a relatively hard material with superior arc and wear resistance, high physical properties at elevated temperatures, and good electrical and thermal conductivity.

Luvata offers copper tungsten in round bars, square bars and flat bars with standard sizes available for immediate shipment or taylor-made sizes manufactured to order.
