1971: Founding Intermagnetics General Corporation (IGC).

2001: Acquisition of IGC Advanced Superconductors by Outokumpu Copper Products Oy

2006: Outokumpu Copper Products Oy acquired and rebranded Luvata.

2009: Awarded $26 million nuclear fusion contract from the US Department of Energy.

2010: Received $6.5 million contract to supply superconducting wire to CEA Saclay.

2013: New lease signed to expand MRI superconducting wire manufacturing capacity.

2017: Acquired by Mitsubishi Materials Corporation.

2019: Attained ISO 14001:2015 certification.
