Luvata has succeeded in developing a high-adhesion PA12 insulated copper busbar, that is specifically designed for the growing EV market and found to be very effective in other applications as well, such as data center cooling. Our polyamide PA12 insulated busbars are made from oxygen-free copper (Cu-OF), which offers superior conductivity, bendability, and cold formability, reducing the risk of edge cracks. The absence of oxygen allows more current to pass through the same conductor size, making it ideal for EV applications.
