One of our initiatives is the Leading Together program, which brings Luvata leaders from across the globe together each year to strengthen their leadership capabilities, broaden their perspectives and grow together leaders. The Leading Together training brings together Luvata leaders from all over the world. Annually, new batch of Luvata leaders are gathered to participate in the program, which combines both individual work and a four-day intensive training in-person. The purpose of the training is to inspire managers to work on their mindset and attitudes so they can build connection and confidently turn the Luvata vision into action. The training supports recognizing how differences drive the organization forward, and how collaborating with colleagues fosters cooperation. In addition, it equips participants to have meaningful conversations where people feel valued, engaged as well as challenged. “Continuous leadership development is central to our work. Leading Together offers not only valuable training but also a strong peer network that can support participants throughout their careers. Meeting colleagues from different cultures further deepens understanding and strengthens our people’s ability to operate in a global organization”, says Mikko Juusela, Executive Vice President, HR & People. Safe Space to Learn and Grow In 2025, the Leading Together training took place in London, where Luvata managers from four continents gathered to strengthen their personal leadership skills. One of the participants was Jason Ader who works as a Tooling Manager at Luvata Appleton. “The professional and personal growth I experienced during this program was beyond what I could have expected. The training helped me to be more aware of situations when leadership opportunities arise and actively utilize them to continue to grow as a leader, and help others grow as well,” Ader explains. Ader notes, that leadership and growth can be inherently uncomfortable. It had a huge impact, that the trainers created a space that felt safe and allowed people to really lean into the concepts and exercises without being afraid of being judged. When asked, what was the key takeaway of the training, Ader highlights the importance of listening to others in building understanding: “How greatly important it is to listen to others, not just hear them. I learned early in the training that I needed improvement in this area, and the concepts that were taught helped with that immensely.” Read more about Luvata as an employer
