Luvata’s Organization

Luvata’s organization is a global entity that is run by the President & CEO and a team of functional and business unit leaders. As a company, we are organized into five business units, that in total have 10 manufacturing sites. Each business unit has its own leader, who is also a member of Luvata’s Management Team. The business units focus on distinct core business areas and serve different industries while making the most of copper. Luvata is a group company of Mitsubishi Materials Corporation (MMC).

Management Team

Luvata Management Team consists of the President & CEO, Business Unit leaders and Luvata Group Senior Vice Presidents.

Pekka Kleemola

President & CEO
Joined Luvata in 2004

Pekka Kleemola became the President & CEO of Luvata in 2022. Prior to that, he served as Senior Vice President and Group CFO. Altogether Pekka has worked for Luvata and its predecessors for more than 20 years including various assignments primarily focusing on finance, business strategy and development.

Kati Männistö

Senior Vice President & Chief Financial Officer
Joined Luvata in 2017
M.Sc. (Economics)

Prior to joining Luvata, Kati Männistö held various finance positions at companies such as Outokumpu and Kemira. Before becoming CFO, she served as Head of Group Financial Control for the Luvata Group.

Takuya Kitamura

Takuya Kitamura began his career working in the MMC cement sales function in Japan as well as in Vietnam. Since then, he has gained experience across various fields, including a M&A project in the United States, public relations, and corporate strategy.

Mikko Juusela

Prior to joining Luvata, Mikko Juusela worked for 10 years at Outokumpu Research, which is now known as Metso. During his career at Luvata, Juusela has been responsible for many global business functions such as Human Resources and Health & Safety. He is also responsible for leading leadership development and training globally at Luvata.

Annamari Ahlmark

Senior Vice President, General Counsel & Chief Compliance Officer
Joined Luvata in 2023

Prior to joining Luvata, Annamari Ahlmark worked as Senior Legal Counsel & Group Compliance Officer at Uponor. She has also held in-house Legal Counsel positions at companies such as Hartwall, Elcoteq and Wärtsilä.

Olli Naukkarinen

Olli Naukkarinen has held various managerial and leadership positions at Luvata and previously at Outokumpu in Finland, the USA and Austria.

Antti Kilpinen

D.Tech (Chemical Engineering), Lic.Econ (Business Administration)

Antti Kilpinen has worked at Luvata in technology and business management for decades. Prior to joining Luvata, he was involved with academic research and R&D in the metals and construction industries.

Dirk Greywitt

Dirk Greywitt has decades of experience at various Luvata sites and has held various managerial and leadership positions.

Yee Hoe Saw

Yee Hoe Saw has held several operative manager and business development and leadership positions at Luvata, and previously at Outokumpu.

John Stevens

John Stevens has decades of experience in the copper and copper alloy industry. Prior joining Luvata, he worked in sales with Outokumpu Copper Buffalo, eventually becoming Vice President of Sales and Marketing for the Buffalo rolling mill.

Jyrki Rantanen

During his career, Jyrki Rantanen has held several finance positions across different business areas at Luvata, including a two-year assignment in the United States. Prior to taking on his current role in 2018, Jyrki held a position of SVP Strategy and Business Development at Luvata.

Our Board of Directors consists of the CEO and directors from both Luvata and MMC.

Shoubin Zhang

In 2025, Shoubin Zhang was appointed the Managing Executive Officer of MMC and President of the Advanced Products Company. Prior to that, he served as General Manager of the Sanda Plant and General Manager of the Strategy Division within the Advanced Products Company at MMC.

Hideki Hayashi

Hideki Hayashi has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions within the copper fabrication industry. He began his career as a copper ore procurement representative at the Naoshima smelting and refinery in Japan. Since then, he has developed his business expertise with a focus on sales and marketing, business strategy, and project management.

Hisashi Ide

Since Hisashi Ide joined MMC, he has worked for the company mainly in its corporate functions, such as legal and compliance, corporate governance, HR, corporate strategy and business development.

Kenichi Takagi

Since joining MMC, Kenichi Takagi has focused on the development of copper and copper alloy fabricating business.
