Our number one priority is to supply our customers with high quality products that not only meet our customers’ requirements but also support their business development and sustainability ambitions. We take environmental aspects into account in our product development and look for new innovative solutions together with our business partners.

We reduce our adverse impacts on climate and the environment by making active efforts towards carbon neutrality and by recognizing and mitigating our impacts on the ecosystems and biodiversity.

Luvata has made a commitment to be carbon neutral in its own operations (scope 1 & 2) by 2045, and we are also looking for opportunities to reduce the greenhouse gas emissions of our value chains (scope 3). To achieve carbon neutrality, we are aiming to use only 100 % renewable energy by 2035. We have standardized and audited environmental management systems in place in all our manufacturing units (ISO14001), and we have begun to map our effects on ecosystems and biodiversity to mitigate potential adverse impacts.

We use resources with care and in alignment with the circular economy principles by improving the resource efficiency of our operations and promoting recovery and recycling of copper.

Our materials, copper in particular, are highly recyclable and maintain their properties and value well through circulation. We promote the recovery and recycling of copper and are looking to increase the use of recycled and environmentally certified raw materials in our production. We pay close attention to the careful use of all resources and look for both technical and process-based solutions to ensuring resource efficiency and sustainable waste management.
