The alloy used in commutator copper is typically silver bearing OF-Copper. Alloying copper with silver substantially improves the material’s softening and other properties. Luvata offers various silver bearing copper grades that are based on OF-OK® oxygen-free copper. OF-OK material consistency is crucial for the manufacturer who wants to improve the efficiency of their processes.

Our strip dimensions vary from 0,10 mm minimum thickness to 8,00 mm maximum thickness, and 1,5 mm minimum width to 80 mm maximum width.
