Our processes provide oxide-free surfaces for both pre and post plating. Most often Luvata’s battery nail wire for alkaline batteries is pre-plated. Plating is typically in the range of 0.5-2.0 microns of bright tin. Because we do the plating in-house, we completely control the process. For customers who prefer to manage their own plating post-nail forming, bare wire is also available.
