Luvata Health and Safety Day 2026 Focused on Psychological Safety

At Luvata, health and safety are at the core of everything we do, every day. For the third year in a row, all Luvata companies celebrated Luvata Health & Safety Day, a day that highlights the importance of health and safety, and the culture built around it.

The day was previously known as Luvata Safety Day, but this year we renamed it into Health & Safety Day, reflecting a broader commitment to overall wellbeing.

Understanding Psychological Safety

Earlier this spring, across all Luvata companies, teams came together to explore psychological safety. Employees deepened their understanding of what psychological safety means in practice and learned how to strengthen it. Through discussions in smaller groups, teams shared experiences, identified what is already working well and explored ways to further improve how everyone feels heard, respected, and supported

“While the term psychological safety may be new to some of us, the actions behind it, such as respect, trust, and open communication, are already familiar. The high level of engagement and the quality of discussions showed clearly that this is an important topic, and one we will continue to strengthen going forward,” says Mikko Hinkkanen, Head of EHSQ at Luvata Group.
