Luvata Pori Appoints Eero Pukkila as New Plant Manager

At Luvata Pori, significant leadership changes took place on April 1, 2026, as former head of the plant Jyrki Rantanen, transitioned to lead Luvata’s new Materials & Solutions business unit. He was succeeded by Eero Pukkila, who has built a long career at Luvata.

Eero Pukkila holds a M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering. He joined Luvata Pori in 2007. Over the past two decades, Pukkila has held numerous roles in production, production planning, and management. He transitioned into the role of Plant Manager from his previous position as Supply Chain Manager.

“Luvata Pori’s operations have become very familiar to me. Over the years, I’ve worked closely with all functions and had the opportunity to take part in a wide range of projects,” Pukkila says.

A Strong Focus on Values and Safety

Pukkila is excited about his new role as Plant Manager of Luvata Pori.

“It’s a great opportunity to develop Luvata Pori’s operations from a somewhat different perspective. Luvata’s values and culture have always been close to my heart. In my new role I can further develop our work in this area and strengthen our position as an employer.”

Luvata’s values are indeed one of the key reasons Pukkila has enjoyed his long career at Luvata Pori, and he intends to highlight them strongly in his leadership.
