Dawson Shanahan is now Luvata Welshpool Limited

Luvata Oy acquired Dawson Shanahan Group in May 2024. Following the acquisition, Dawson Shanahan has gone through a name change and now officially operates as Luvata Welshpool Limited.

Luvata Welshpool Limited is a UK-based producer of highly engineered and fabricated copper and metal components used in the Aerospace, Automotive, Medical, Power Distribution, and Industrial markets. It specializes in the design, prototyping and precision engineering of high-quality, customer specified components and assemblies.

Luvata Welshpool is part of Luvata’s Formed Products Business Unit (FBPU) which includes factories in Delaware Ohio, Welwyn Garden City UK, São Paulo Brazil, and Suzhou China. FPBU is one of the world’s leading suppliers of copper-based resistance welding electrodes and alloyed copper brazing wire, serving automotive customers around the world.
