Rhys Jones Appointed as Managing Director for Luvata Welshpool

In January 2026, Rhys Jones started as Managing Director of Luvata Welshpool, following the retirement of previous Managing Director Les Reeves. Luvata Welshpool was previously known as Dawson Shanahan and was acquired by Luvata in May 2024.

In his career, Rhys Jones has gained a great deal of experience in engineering, product management, manufacturing, and general management. Prior to joining Luvata, Jones worked as a General Manager of a UK-based company in the field of industrial manufacturing. He holds an HNC in Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering, a Level 5 Diploma in Management and Leadership, and is a certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt.
